Today we are sharing images from an Ontario elemen Today we are sharing images from an Ontario elementary school art installation inspired by the artist and educator, Alma Woodsey Thomas.

Thomas is best known for her abstract, colourful, and rhythmic compositions, often featuring concentric circles or rows of brightly coloured, small brushstrokes (“Alma Stripes”) that create a mosaic effect.

Her work was inspired by nature, such as the flowers in her garden, and the space race.

Her work has been displayed in notable museums such as @themuseumofmodernart and @whitneymuseum
